What is the best way to mount an LCD TV to the wall?

I have a wall mount to attach the TV to the wall, but I would like to know what you do with all of the cables hanging out of the TV. Is there a secret technique used by pro installers, or do you just leave them hanging out. I'd like to camouflage them if I could and I'd like possible suggestions and approaches to "clean up" this installation.

When i mounted my 32" in my bedroom, what I did was put an additional electrical outlet, and cable connection, half way up the wall (so it is behind the tv set) I also put a small shelf just wide enough for my cable box and other appliances just above the TV so all the cables are hiding behind the TV and cannot be seen, a very clean installation..... the only thing you can see is the tv so no wires are showing at all
