Is the Marshall MG100hdfx amp good for Slash's sound?
I know the amp settings for Slash, i just need to know if this would be a good amp for playing Guns n Roses songs on. I havn't been to guitar center yet, and this looks like it has good settings. If it helps, I really like the sound in "Pretty tied Up (The perils of Rock and Roll)" "Nightrain", "Sweet Child O Mone", and most of the Guns n Roses Songs. So if you could help out that would be great. I have a Wah Pedal if that is a concern in the sound. I am really looking for that Ballsy, Hard Rock, in your face sound.
You can get close, but you wont get "that" sound out of a solid state amp or pedals. You'll need to get a tube amp.
