I tried to clean my alloy wheels and the cleaning agent corroded some of the clear overcoat on the rims. Now, those spots are white rather than shiny. What should be the most economical way to fix this problem? Should I buy a clear coat for the rims? If so, which brands? Where can I buy them?

i own a shop,and you can take the wheels off of it and sand them some and re-clear them if you,ll take your time and read the directions on the can you can make them look good again,advance auto parts has the clear for them also,good luck i hope this helps.
