What makes the LoBatTM unique is the
micro size and ultra
low current design which uses less than 4 micro amps
(less than 2% of the power used typical active pickups).
This allows the voltage to be monitored continuously during use
without reducing battery life. Other typical circuit designs can use
as much or more power than the pickups or electronics resulting
in much shorter battery life. This low current design makes the
LoBatTM perfect for use with active pickups and electronics from
EMG®, Seymour Duncan®, Bartolini®
or any other 9 volt system. (18V version coming soon) In addition, the high
efficiency LED indicator circuit uses minimal power to maximize
play time (usually several days) in the event that the battery can not be immediately
changed.
