hey all. ive been playin guitar 5 years and my current gear is
ibanez grg170dx
75W line 6 spider III
boss rc2 loop station
i just recently got the rc2 and ran into the problem of differing effects. for example, not being able to play a distorted line over a clean loop because the spider has built in effects.
should i sell my line 6 and get a standard amp + distortion pedal?
i think thats really the only way to solve the problem of "different effects".
If your amp has an effect loop just after the built in effects (most likely it does), put the RC there and it will be able to record the clean and the distortion lines.
