Guitars - How do they differ?
Although there are several types of guitars are the two major electric and acoustic and even within these two categories there are many variations.
The acoustic guitar is wood and the sound it produces depends on the shape of the guitar and strings. The body is usually hollow ropes Nylon is used. No need to be connected to a power source unless, of course, is an acoustic guitar. No effects boxes of any kind required as the electric guitar. These are some of the guitars within the acoustic group: -
- Classic - this is what most Beginners choose and played sitting
- Flamenco - like the classic but thinner and produces a crisp sound
- Steel-top - it has a body larger than classical guitar, hard for the robot and produces a warmer tone
- Twelve chains - the six normal strings have another set an octave higher. This guitar produces a sound very melodic
- Resonator - quite like the steel-top, but the center of the soundboard is made of steel that acts as a resonator. different guitars resonator within the group can play around like a keyboard instrument. The resonator guitar is regularly used to play the blues
- Arch-top - this is often chosen guitar jazz musicians. You f-hole design and is usually expensive to buy a guitar.
- Low noise - usually with four strings, but comes with five or six strings too. This electric guitar is played without pick-ups.
Turning to the electric guitars are playing need through an amplifier and if are not connected to one, the sound is barely audible. When used with many types of sound boxes, the effects are different. The tone and volume are varied by the use of control knobs such as the passage of severe acute intensive. To create a sound "shouting" blow bars are used regularly, but this is not recommended for guitars cheaper, since it may result to finish the guitar melody.
The electric guitar strings are thin and steel. It takes less effort to push down as they are closer to the neck of the guitar. The body electric guitar is solid wood, smaller than the acoustic, and therefore heavier. The electric guitar comes in six and twelve string, and a variety of ways, and some models even have been carved to give the appearance of a hand.
As mentioned above, some acoustic guitars may also be electric, while this is not true of electric guitars - which can not be never sound.
