The sound effects of the electric guitar
When the electric guitar was originally created back in the 1930s, the main intent was simply to create an instrument that could be heard more of the jazz bands ever larger. It is doubtful that the inventors of the instrument could ever have imagined the uses to which their creation would someday be. The modern electric guitar is a source of a seemingly endless series of tones, hues and sounds. Artists have pushed the limits of the instrument in an attempt to find new and innovative sounds, and continue to do so. The sounds of the electric guitar has become an art form in and of themselves, so much so that specific devices have been invented to create them. These devices are known as guitar effects, and modify the tone, pitch and the sound of the electric guitar to help create the sounds that define some genres of modern music.
It would be almost impossible to cover the wide range of the effects used by electric guitars, so only the most used will be covered by it. A very popular group of effects is related effects with distortion. Such effects are caused by distortion pedals, which distort, or "clip" waveform of the guitar signal. distorting are divided into four main subcategories: overdrive / distortion, overdrive / crunch, fuzz and high gain. Some of these effects are often associated with specific gender or artists. Overdrive / pedals crisis, for example, produce sounds very similar to the music of Carlos Santana and Eddie Van Halen. Hi-gain pedals, on the other hand, create sounds more often associated with the genre of heavy metal.
Then there are the effects related to the volume. As with distortion effects, those related with the volume also created via a pedal. The guitarist is able to use this pedal to adjust the volume of an instrument during a performance, but also can be used to take notes on a guitar or chords fade in and out. Such attributes are useful for human vocal sections, when the percussive plucking of strings is to be softened or eliminated. There are at least three different types of volume pedals, these volumes are auto-volume/envelope, tremolo and compressor. Each type has Specific attributes useful for different situations and genres.
time-dependent effects include delay / echo, looping, and reverberation or "reverb." The first, delay / echo, creates a copy of an incoming sound, delays slightly and then repeats it either once a slap "effect or repeatedly to an "echo" effect. Looping involves recording a phrase or passage and an accompaniment to the journey and that the repetitions. This technique involves the use of extremely long delays. Finally, reverberation refers to the persistence of a sound in a particular space after the original sound gone. In essence, this is a large number and wide echo.
Modulation-related effects include several devices, including the rotary speaker, the simulator Rotary speaker, vibrato pedal, phase shifter and the flanger. The rotary speaker and its simulator offer something known as the Doppler effect, which is a change in frequency of a wave and wavelength. A vibrato pedal reproduces the rotary speaker sound synchronizing the oscillations of a standard speaker volume, volume of the oscillation frequency Specifically, vibrato, phase shifting and the choir. A phase shifter creates a complex frequency response that results in a "whooshing" noise, similar to that of jet flight. And finally, if an artist wants to simulate the sound originally created by stopping a tape for holding something against the flange and then allowing the tape to speed again, a flanger can produce a sound.

Hello, Kevin! When the effects of the command, you must consider how each change will modify the audio which is put forward. The agreement would recommend tuner, whammy, Reverb, Delay, Noise Suppressor, and a volume pedal. Complicating this is the aspiration orderly arrangement "Tone" features some pedals (see http://www.stinkfoot.se/andreas/diy/articles/suck.htm for more details). For Some general tips order effects, see http://www.gmarts.org/index.php?go=222, http://www.harmony-central.com/articles/tips/guitar_effects_guide/ And http://www.robertkeeley. com / faq.php #% 20order effect. As for using the effects loop will have to decide for yourself if you like the noise their effects before the preamp (connected to the outlet channel effects of the input jack of the amplifier), or before the amplifier power (connected from the "send" Jack the effects chain and the output of the impact on the "return" jack). I want to know if I can help. Sincerely, Dana
