Dunlop Crybaby wah problem? ?
I just got my Dunlop Crybaby wah pedal today, it's a GCB-95. I opened the box, it looked fine. I popped in a Duracell 9 volt. I plugged both cables into my amp, it sounded fine. I pushed it down all the way 'till it clicked, and it all shut off. The sound wouldn't come out, or anything. It's got this white stuff inside the pedal. Is it broken? It has not made the wah sound or anything since I have plugged it in. I bought it at guitar center.
It's not working at all. What should I do?
And I know how to turn it on an off. But when I turn it on, it kills the end goin' through my guitar. Both cables do work!
It is one of four things.
1) The switch on the top is bad.
2&3) The either input or output jacks are bad.
4) The pot that makes the wah sound is bad.
You should take it back to the Evil Empire(GC)
and get a new one they are famous for selling open boxes too so beware!
