Evolution Guitars
This is a stringed musical instrument. At the same time, belongs to the family of the guitar, with a larger body and neck more allowing more time long distance or length of the musical scale. It's fingers or pick the strings to vibrate, thus producing sound. This instrument is usually used with 4 strings, tuned an octave lower than the guitar
The bass has been used by the music of the world for centuries. The 15th century "Viola da Gamba" was among the first low instruments known. It was more than 8 feet tall, with 6 to 7 strings, tuned bass similar to the current double. With a fretted neck, a bow was used to play. This general appearance of "viol" has not changed over the centuries. The size, shape, tone, parts, and forests were very similar, although there were some variations in the number of strings.

EVOLUTION
The following centuries are used chains ranging from 3 to 7. Across Europe, 3 and 4 string bass was used for 300 years. Germany and Austria used 4 to 5 strings until the 19th century, while Italy, France and England used mainly 3-string configuration until the 1870s. The following decades saw the dominance of the lower 4 strings.
From century 19, drastic changes were initiated by Paul Tutmarc in the 1930s. He designed a bass that was very similar to a guitar, hand and transported and can be played horizontally. This concept was followed in the 1950s and 1960s by Leo Fender. Leo Fender the bass became the master model for the mass produced low. In 1971, the boutique or high end electric bass was introduced. Born in 1979 as new products the title = "headless" target = "_blank"> no low-head machines are set on the bridge. In 1980 other innovations, using new materials such as graphite were marketed. In 1987, the low Ashbory small body was launched-ultra, 100% portable, lightweight, nylon strings with an unexpected great sound in the background.

MATERIALS AND CONSTRUCTION
The material usually employed for wood is low (the most common is alder for the body, or exotic woods such as bubinga, wenge, Ovangkol, ebony or Gonzalo alves, maple or ash for the neck or Graphite and carbon fiber for lightweight necks, and rosewood for the fingerboard). Apart from aesthetic reasons, careful selection of material should be done because the material used has a significant effect on the timbre of the bass guitar. For the final finish, lacquer, wax and oil are used. With the advent of artificial materials, such as luthite, unique methods of production such as die-casting can be used to enable the manufacture of complex shapes of the body which in turn allow convenience in celebration of the instrument.
Most bass guitars have a solid body, but may also have greater resonance hollow chambers or reduce the weight of the instrument. However, caution should be taken into account as hollow bodies change the tone and resonance of the bass. For strings, all-metal (bullion or encapsulated) with coatings of any of the layers tapewound or plastic, not metal strings made of nylon are used.

BASS guitars
Although the family of guitars, the bass has remarkable differences of the guitar. The most simple and basic difference is the tessitura of the instruments. Bass guitar plays notes an octave lower than a guitar.
Another unique difference is the sound quality produced by low. A bass guitar has a unique way to produce sound when played with the fingers or plucked. If you tap with your fingers using 2, 3 or 4 fingers, the bass guitar can create different rhythms and produce differences of tone not possible if the instrument is played with a plectrum.
Another difference is the role the instrument plays in a band. Despite the grave is very critical in the band, often play a secondary role. While low could have solo acts and could play very similar to a guitar, traditionally (which is normally expected by the people), a guitar is more or is more visible in the first line or center of attention.
Although usually play a secondary role, the roles played by the bass varies depending on the type of music. The degree of importance may also vary gender. The bass guitar is normally used to provide the bass line low tone in pop music and jazz. It is used as a solo instrument in jazz, fusion, Latin and funk styles. Rock and roll, heavy metal, punk, reggae, and soul also use the bass as a solo instrument.
Plays bass guitar various functions for orchestra settings. Traditionally, orchestral settings employ the double bass, but 20th century composers have started to use the electric bass

About the techniques
Several methods are used to playing bass. The slap and pop "method popularized in the 1960s to the 1970s by Larry Graham of Sly and the Family Stone is produced by blows thumb string and break the strings with the index or middle finger. This technique produces percussive sounds. This technique was further improved by Stanley Clarke and Johnson Louis and is used by other bassist in other genres such as rock bassists Flea, JJ Burnel and Les Claypool, jazz-fusion bassist Victor Wooten. Wooten later develop other methods. He popularized the hit "dual method" in which the string is slapped twice, on the upstroke and down a

BASS GUITAR ????????????????
WHAT KIND OF BASS GUITAR GET beginner should play if you want the music of the Beatles? And thats so expensive
Ah, The Beatles. Well, it is quite low, without inconvenience to the sound of the Beatles. Paul never anything funky with the sound of your bass just a pleasant and warm. So I would not worry too much about that which corresponds to the sound of the Beatles, just do not get what is called a "precision" low (it has a dry tone, popping) and do not receive anything that seems to belong to a heavy metal band. (You'll know 'em when I see) As a beginner, you do not want to put in a ton of money on his first bass. If I said two things, one, make sure it is a "jazz" in style and two, pick up something he feels comfortable when you hold and it sounds good to you. But this is only if you could say two things:) low Fender is a sort of low-grandfather, but I've never been a big fan. They are very large and heavy and never thought the tone was unusually good considering the price and the hype that goes with them. If you like the style Fender, however, go to a groom. It is the cheapest part and Fender sounds very good. I found much less awkward Squires, Fender bass sometimes too clumsy. Ibanez makes great bass for any level of experience. They also have a lot of cheaper options. Ibanez can play and sound great. Gibson at low cost a fortune and are not my favorite low (they are very good guitars, but that's another story), but Epiphone is the cheap version of Gibson and that is what I have. This Epiphone EB-a 0 and is well maintained. He has a versatility that much, but I'm good. For a little money, the EB-3 you can play with the tone. There several other brands of decent, but I really think Ibanez is the best hands down. I intend to buy one in the future. If you see a lot Shecter or a dean to have a look, but keep Ibanez in the brain. And do not forget my two main directions. Oh, and make sure low-level short, too. Means that the short scale neck is About 29-31 instead of 34-35 inches. It seems just as good and is much more manageable. But if you a strong person, or as the sensation of normal and have no qualms about looking for them, the scales somewhat less clearly borne in mind as you learn more easily in them. Happy reading!
