Why Vinyl Records bass and drums represent a blow to the MP3
When it comes to drum and bass vinyl records, that really looks make little sense to use any other format. Despite all the advances in computer technology and file storage and compression, not to mention portability, it is gratifying know that there are still ways of music genres and subgenres that are created today demanding and require a form of storage media is quite far from the digital age.
For all the advances in computer power, with CD and MP3 seemingly everywhere you look, from websites to hang on the necks of adolescents, from mobile phones attached to the front of magazines and newspapers, there seems to be able to evade the most music formats, vinyl records, with the thriving music genres on vinyl, not only increasing - but really need a format to be fully appreciated.
I talked a lot in the past on how the vinyl adds a quality to music that is out bleached by digital manipulation of binary files. Digitization scan of the music seems to erase any individuality, any spark of individualism. But the popularity of drum and bass music has meant that represents vinyl more than a nice alternative, an individual style or a more versatile way to experiment with performance.
The fact is that artists and producers the creation of drum & bass vinyl records do not expect music to be transferred to any other format, and this is more than obvious if you've ever tried listen to a D & B song on your iPod. You may begin to wonder why the introduction is so long, and why when the song is over, the routine drum and bass just seems to go on forever. There is a good reason - were not intended to listen to this piece. Or at least they were not intended to listen to that part of drum & bass, because the track was designed to be played about with the DJs.
As with most house music, be it a garage, RnB, hip hop, jungle, breakbeat or many other genres and subgenres that exist within the urban music culture, it is not intended for you to sit and passively listening to music again, but for you to participate. This is especially true with D & B or drum & bass vinyl records. The intro and outros are deliberately been extended to allow DJs to mix, melt and play with the tracks, creating unique ways to incorporate music in the session.
This is all the case that in several cases, the artists and producers have provided DJs with either pre-release versions to experiment, to ensure that the D & B tracks are played, tested and experimented with, or even exclusive D & B tracks with extended intro and outro sections. It is for this reason that makes almost no sense at all to sit passively and listen to this routine extended battery and bass.
This is also the same reason why when it comes to drum & bass music vinyl is the only practical response. You can not actually scratch, mix MP3 files or fade in the other. I know there is software that allows you to simulate this type of effect but have a real drawback - no hands on sense of belonging. Simply push buttons, and offers little in the way of spontaneous creativity. DJs are not used up computers, or even MP3 CDs as the main way to play and experiment with music.
It is important to be able to physically involved with music - and dancing or really be getting your hands dirty in the basket of vinyl. Drum & bass is very much feel the music. Most home systems simply can not low handle effectively, and the whole idea of this music is to feel through your body as well as listen. This is another reason that the headphones plug and listen to your iPod much sense. You'll never feel the music. But the party achieved an open day, a nightclub or rave in the drum & bass music evidence is largely let you feel the music.
Whether you feel the music in the form of ground vibrations through your body while dancing all night, or get your hands in the grooves and playing with the drum & bass vinyl records by touch and experimental, there is no denying that when it comes to drum & vinyl bass music is the only practical way to use media to fully appreciate the genre.

What effect do I start low?
I am a bass player who is very used to playing a "natural" sound. (Usually only a compressor). I am looking for some effects, but do not know what to buy. I'm looking for a line of 6 Bass PODxt Live or Boss GT-6B. What recommendations do you? .. Or should I build a pedal pedal different? If so, the pedals should start?
I have a soft fuzz wah Bootsy Collins, this thing is incredible. which has different levels of fuzz and wah may change if he could give a distorted sound or your Hot Fuzz. impressive pedal
